Last weekend my friends got married. It was probably the best weekend or week since last summer. Everything turned out wonderful. Fresh yellow roses, iris', daisies, everything....all were just absolutely gorgeous. It was just the most amazing wedding I have been to in, well like i said, since last summer. It's great finally seeing my friends together after I've gotten to know together and sort of separate.
The Bachelorette party went great. We hung out and had fun at a family friend's lake cottage. Then on Thursday, Courtney and I helped out at the Troyer's with little details. Friday was absolutely ridiculous. We helped set up the reception area. We put up tables and put out chairs. We set tables and then got ready for the Rehearsal and Rehearsal dinner. The Rehearsal dinner was great. We had so much fun. The Eric Schmucker Tribute Band was there (it was Eric's cousin's who played Irish Music all night). We had so much fun dancing the night away and breaking into a heavy duty sweat. But overall it was so much fun! Saturday came wedding day. We got up, got out hair done, helped a little for the reception, went to the church, did our make-up, took pictures, got them hitched, and then had the best reception ever.
The ceremony was beautiful. It fit them to a perfect T. It was their personality and everything. And my favorite was their unity symbol. They thought long and hard about it. They chose to water a tree. It was great because it was something that was special to them which made it great for them because it was "them." Then they rode away in a cute little carriage to the reception. That was great. We got there, ate food and then just mingled and schmoozed. I as the Maid of Honor (The MOH) had to give a speech. I was super nervous but according to everyone else...it turned out great. Steve was the Best Man, so it was great hanging out with him. And it was absolutely crazy seeing all my worlds collide into one with my Hesston friends being there and EMU friends being there and even seeing high school friends and local people I know. It's just crazy. That was the strangest part about the wedding but everything turned out to be great and amazing. It was perfect, I'm pretty sure.
Now I'm just waiting and getting ready for the California reception. I'm excited. I'm going out with Kim's parents. They're funny! It should be fun and it will be great seeing them again even though it's after their honeymoon. Strange. Whatever! Okay I'm signing off now. I've just been on this high of how awesome their wedding was. It was just that exciting!!! Okay I'm done. It's just a beautiful world which makes me so happy even in the midst of the saddest and horror. I guess sometimes you just need to think positively.

Love Who You Love
Wow! This week has been wonderful and frustrating all at once. I hate working at the Crap Barn but that's nothing new. Next week is Kim and Eric's wedding! And I can not wait for all the festivities to begin. It's going to be so much fun! Ah!! I can't wait to see old and new friends again. It is going to be very exciting!
This last weekend, I also bought 3 things. 2 movies and 1 CD. I bought the new Rascal Flatts CD and it's absolutely amazing! I pretty much love every song and all of them are all very meaningful. They seem to all have such a great message and I absolutely love the CD. It's been great.
"Love who you love with all that you have and don't waste the time that flies so fast. Love who you love and say that you do. Hold on as tight as they'll let you. Love who you love."
Even though I don't have much to say, it just feels good to write something down. Nothing exciting has been going on here. I'm just ready for my summer to end and begin this thing called life. I can't wait to start VS and to move away. For about 1 day, I thought it would be fun to live around here again. Of course not Shipshe but possibly Goshen area. Am I crazy or what? After telling myself and many others that I probably won't stick around, here I am thinking it might be fun. I don't know, maybe it would be. Ok maybe i would love to just get to know old friends again and actually be their friend instead of the outsider. Maybe?
This summer has been pretty good so far though. That has been great. I thought I would dread it a lot more but yeah it hasn't been that bad. The whole work thing sucks. The weddings have been good. I'm stoked about all the movies, which I need to go see. And I just got the movie He's Just Not That Into You becuase there are a lot of great actors and actresses in that movie. LOVE IT! Yes to great summer movies and even the summer tunes. Well i should sign off because I'm starving and so I should find some kind of food.
